There should be an executable named LogServer.exe in your EVE Folder. Try starting up the client with that running and if your client is erroring out during login that error should show up there.
With that you can create a bug report, which we'll use to fix the issue for you and anyone else encountering it.
P.S. You can also post it here but then you're relying on my lizard brain to check this topic regularly. @CCP_PrismX EVE Database Developer and Expert Ranter Member of a Different Team, every day. |

So I'm a DB guy and know little of these things, but this is an error with importing trinity, the graphics module of EVE.
I've heard that if you update without the launcher you wont update your directX. I'm not sure how that affects any Steam updates but I did run into a few BRs from Steam users as well so that might not be getting handled properly.
Anyways, could you try manually updating your DX and see if that helps you, and if it did report it here? @CCP_PrismX EVE Database Developer and Expert Ranter Member of a Different Team, every day. |

Apparently this was a known issue that was resolved yesterday so hopefully it'll all be fine after todays downtime. @CCP_PrismX EVE Database Developer and Expert Ranter Member of a Different Team, every day. |

Well the patch was cancelled so I found the Dev who fixed the issue and asked for a manual workaround.
Run ..\EVE\Bin\DirectXRedist.exe manually, and it should fix your problems. @CCP_PrismX EVE Database Developer and Expert Ranter Member of a Different Team, every day. |
